Don’t you just know Sylvester Croom is having a lot of fun this week?

And rightfully so, especially considering his last four Decembers in the homes of possible prospects probably wasn’t much fun.

After all, it wasn’t like he could offer much substance as far as hope goes.

“Hey, uh, look. I know our program is down, but, hey uh, one day we’ll be better, and we’ll be the top team in the state and going to bowls,” he might have said. “We’re doing it the right way, with uh, character and integrity. Hey, that’s the foundation.”
