| Croom, Bulldogs preparing for tough time against Crimson Tide JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Like most college football fans, Mississippi State coach Sylvester Croom was in front of the television Saturday watching Alabama play LSU. He came away impressed by the play of his alma mater in its 41-34 loss to the No. 2 Tigers and even more convinced his Bulldogs are facing a stellar opponent Saturday in Starkville. "I think the thing that's very impressive about them is that they play a full game," Croom said. "They play 60 minutes. They've never been out of any game that they played and we'll really have to approach this thing like we have to play 61 minutes. We can't let up until we get into the dressing room." The Crimson Tide (6-3, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) has two three-game win streaks and has been ranked as high as 16th in its first season under Nick Saban. Alabama's losses against Georgia, Florida State and LSU, teams that are or have been ranked this season, came by a total of 17 points. Full Story
