Bobo's recovery gives Bulldogs a shot in arm

STARKVILLE — While the rest of his Mississippi State teammates were sweating through August's inferno of a preseason camp, Demario Bobo was under air conditioning, often lying on a soft mattress.
Paradise, right?
Wrong. Bobo came down with an unfortunate one-two punch of diseases - mononucleosis and tonsillitis, which led him to utter the following sentence that no other college football player has probably ever said:
"It was real bad, real tough on me, missing training camp and everything," Bobo said Tuesday.
