MSU Football: Chaney good fit in middle

STARKVILLE — When Mississippi State coach Sylvester Croom approached Jamar Chaney in the offseason about moving to middle linebacker, he had no objections - even if such a move came with some sky-high expectations.
After all, a guy named Quinton Culberson was the last MSU player to occupy that position. Now on the St. Louis Rams' roster, Culberson was State's leading tackler in each of the past two seasons and the anchor of the Bulldog defense.

I sounds like Chaney has caught on to the change of positioon and continues to improve. He should really be a force on defense next year.
