STARKVILLE — Wesley Carroll greeted news that he had won Mississippi State's starting quarterback job with his usual shoulder-shrug, no-big-deal attitude.
"It makes no difference to me whether I start the game or I'm going in, I've got to work on the little things that I did wrong in the game," Carroll said. "I've got to correct the mistakes that occurred today."
He'll have that opportunity Saturday, when the Bulldogs host Tennessee, MSU coach Sylvester Croom said after Saturday's 30-13 win over UAB.
