| Notebook: Dixon not worried about UAB STARKVILLE - Three years ago, UAB beat Mississippi State by two touchdowns. A year ago, it took overtime for the Bulldogs to beat the Blazers. But this year, at least sophomore tailback Anthony Dixon doesn't seem worried about the Blazers, who visit Scott Field for a 1:30 p.m. game Saturday. "We don't think it's going to be too tough, I mean, we can play with anybody," Dixon said. "We feel like they played us tough last year, but we're a different team than last year and I'm pretty sure they're a different team but we still think we're gonna be good." STILL RUSTY? Senior safety Demario Bobo earned his first start of the season in Saturday's 38-21 loss at South Carolina. Bobo suffered from mononucleosis and tonsillitis for much of August, causing him to miss plenty of preseason practice. "He's still, I guess you could say, knocking a little rust off," coach Sylvester Croom said. "He didn't play well early in the game the other day. Some of it is probably because of the time that he missed. Again, the details." 600? NO WAY! Croom laughed at a question that mentioned true freshman quarterback Chris Relf saying Monday that the State offensive playbook has 600 different plays. Notebook: Dixon not worried about UAB
