STARKVILLE — Rest assured, Sylvester Croom isn't looking past Saturday's game at No. 16 South Carolina.

But when it comes to who he'll play at quarterback, he said after Thursday's practice that the game will have implications that reach beyond merely this weekend.

"After this ballgame, we'll pretty much know who our quarterback is going to be," the MSU coach said. "But they'll both play and then we'll see how they do and we'll know how we'll approach the rest of the season."

Oh, and who will start Saturday?

Just like last week, Croom said he'd review film and decide sometime today or Saturday between Wesley Carroll and Josh Riddell.
