| Mississippi state: Henig still starter, but Riddell looms STARKVILLE — Mississippi State coach Sylvester Croom expressed confidence in starting quarterback Michael Henig Monday, but also left the door open for the possibility that he might not be the starter come late Saturday night. Croom said Henig, who threw a school record-tying six interceptions in MSU's 45-0 loss to LSU Thursday, needed to revert to the fundamentally sound game Croom has seen him execute before - both during practices this past spring and fall and the latter part of 2006. "We're going to do some things to help him, which I won't go into detail on," Croom said. Henig said he and offensive coordinator Woody McCorvey met Friday to review film of Thursday's game. They found some fundamental issues that needed to be addressed. "It was little, simple things," Henig said. "We got that out of the way." Henig still starter, but Riddell looms
