What is the stupidest sports argument you've ever heard? I don't mean just something that you disagree with, but a complaint or a position that is so fundamentally flawed or pointless that you find yourself just shaking your head.

I ask this because I was just listening to Mike & Mike in the Morning, and the what's-his-name whose replacing Greenie is ticked off because he thinks Tiger Woods didn't use his driver enough during the British Open. Yes, the same British Open that Tiger Woods *won* by three strokes! News flash, buddy -- I think Tiger knows what he was doing.

I live in Mass, we have a huge sports talk radio station, so I have heard more stupid arguments about more useless pom-pom waiving crap than you care to hear about.
for example;
1. Should Tom Brady wear a glove on his throwing hand in cold weather?
2. Did Pedro and Schilling play Grab-ass enough, like the rest of the team?
3. Why does Trot Nixon wear his eye black that way? Is it distracting?
I could go on, but I refuse to.
