the Red Sox finally won and im satisfied for a few years, so long as the Yankees dont win it

the Patriots have done just fine, im satisfied there for several years

now as for some people, they just never seem satisfied

my prime example comes from some Yankees fans

I want all of my teams to win every year. But even the Yankees haven't won in 6 years. The Islanders haven't won since 1984. The Knicks haven't won since 73. And although the Jets won in '69, I was too young to even know football existed so for all intent and purposes, they've never won. So I root for everything and then take what I can get.

I'm a Pirates fan. I'd be happy with .500 season right now, really. Success is measured in many different ways.

There you go...not only would you trade her, but she would understand...but hey the Leafs have been suffering since 1967, and some of their past champions are being taken off the Cup...which calls for sacrifices to the gods of hockey.

My teams have come close but only the Rangers came through...in 1994. I know people have waited near centuries for Championships but I'd like to see one before I'm old.

Knicks...1994...damn Olajuwon...looks like they'll never win one
Giants...2000...those Ravens were amazing, we probably shouldn't have even been in the Super Bowl...at least we have Eli and Co. now
Mets...2000 was a weird team who didn't have a chance...this season, if they don't get to the World Series it's a disapointment.
