Big Brown's racing career is over. The big horse that tantalized the world in his bid for the Triple Crown injured himself in a workout. It appeared that he kicked himself in his right front hoof.
Even though the extent of the injury is not known, his co-owners say he will not race again.

I think he had an infection that caused damage... acoording to the louisville paper.

What you read is probably more accurate than what I read. What I read was he was working out and they noticed blood running out.
Didnt he have some problem with infection before?

I don't remember anything about an infection before, not sayin there wasn't, just don't remember anythin on it. I'll keep my eye out for some info on the subject.

wow, now lemme guess? they're gonna put him down? LOL what if in the NFL if a player was injured we put them down. HAHA

No, they're not going to put him down. He will make his owners many $ in stud fees

Aha..... that can lead to infection if improperly treated, but they must have treated it correctly, otherwise he wouldn't have made it up to this point.
