The only team that has given the U.S.A. a hint of trouble in its Asian tournament journey was the Australians and that hint of trouble was really no trouble at all.
In its third game in four nights, Australian hot shots showed they had the backcourt speed to not be overwhelmed by the Americans. At the half, U.S.A. led by just 12 points.
But in the second half, the U.S. turned on the jets. They cruised to a 116-85 victory and knocked the Australians out of the tournament. The U.S. (6-0) has beaten their opponents by an average of 32 points.
Kobe Bryant led the U.S. team with 25 points, which is the highest single game total for an American player in this tournament.
