Xavier Carter is a world-class sprinter. Among his accomplishments is that he ran a 19.63-second 200-meter dash last year, which is the third-fastest time in world history.
So knowing that, wouldn't you think that if he wanted to run away from the cops, he could do so successfully? Apparently not.
The Palm Beach Post reports that two of Carter's buddies (one a Florida football player and the other a former Florida football player) were arrested on misdemeanor battery charges, and that Carter was arrested, too:
Carter was also arrested after the incident on a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest, according to a GPD report. Carter ... ran from police.
There are no details on how he was caught, but that must have been one fast cop.
