To watch soccer on TV is pretty torturous. It's probably okay if you're there and can see the whole field.

My vote is for golf. That is one sport that I cannot watch on tv, it would literally put me to sleep.

If you played golf you could appreciate it more when you see it on TV. I won't tell you that I go out of my way to watch it but now when it is on I have a better understanding of what is really happening.

I like golf too, but I grew up watching it - the characters in play make it entertaining, but I remember Fuzzy Zoeller, lee trevino, ben Crenshaw, nicklaus - not so up on today's.

Fuzzy bedazzled the world when he made that very sorry statement about Tiger. I would have hated to be him after he opened his mouth that time.

yeah no one can say that was a shining moment in people or golf history.
He seemed such a funny guy before that.
But when i was going to the canadian open with my dad, he was a biggie. we followed jerry pate, and i got ben crenshaw's autograph. lee trevino entertained on the practice green. it was great fun.

You know, I got golf cards of all these guys you mentioned...they came in these big Holloween packs I bought at the Mall in the early 1980's while searching for a Wayne Gretzky rookie card...which I finally got...

Golf and bowling are by far the most boring sports for me to watch. I like to actually bowl, but this is because of beer frames and fun stuff like that. Golf is a game I just find boring. It moves far too slow and is not much my idea of a good time, except for the beer carts when they come around!

I have to agree with you, golf is a really boring ( sport? ) I think I'd rather watch paint dry, just about as exciting

Golf is great fun to play, but watching it is indeed a snorefest. It doesn't help the way they whisper, either. I mean, if they could actually get pumped up when these guys make amazing shots, maybe it'd be different. They need to get Ron Santo to call the Masters this year, that's what I think.

For me it is definitely golf. I'd rather watch paint dry than sit through a round of golf. Bowling comes close behind golf for all around boredom. Not sure if it qualifies as a sport, but watching poker on TV is as bad as it gets. The home shopping network is more appealing to me.

as far as bowling goes....just beat my hubby for all three games we played tonite....Poor soul, he's all depressed now

My mom watches golf all the time. I'm so thankful that I have a tv in my room and can watch whatever I want. If I had to watch golf all the time, I would go absolutely crazy! I too would rather watch paint dry!

You and me both, Tennis is the all time most boring. At lease with golf you have nice scenery.
