Serena Williams was a former top-ranked ladies tennis player. She has 28 career championships and an all-time record of 346-72. She is the last player, male or female, to have held all four Grand Slams at the same time. In 2005, Tennis magazine had Serena 17th on the list of the best tennis players of the past 40 years. And following the Sports Star motif, she managed to parlay her success into a successful fashion business and acting career (including stints on the Simpsons, ER and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit).

All Bush has going for him is phenominal athletic ability and a Heisman. He may someday wind up being the bigger star, but not now. I take Serena in the upset.

im going with Serena on this one, her awards speak for themselves and like Lefty said all Bush has done is been a great player, which isnt taking anything away from the guy, but she has won almost everything going in terms of tennis awards and even has a gold medal to her name, which in itself is great for a pro sportstar

as i said on the other thread ....... according to the rules of this game, Serena has to win ....... as it includes WORLDWIDE popularity

you think many people in France or Australia know about or care about Reggie Bush ? ......... Serena has won tourneys there ...... her worldwide popularity beats Reggie about 10-1

now add to all that and all everyone else has said the fact that she has done it all by herself (when playing singles) .... Reggie has always had a team to lift him up when he's having an off day

I take Serena as the winner for every point you mentioned, and think, she was supposed to be the less talented sister.

I only disagree on one point. It is not an upset. Bush is a rookie. He doesn't have enough accomplishments yet.

Well, I use upset because in this contest Serena is a 6 seed and Bush was a 3. Hence, technically that's an upset, right?
