Yes guys & girls: This is the Wednesday after the MLB All-Star Game, also known as the slowest sports day of the year, where no live sporting event of any significance occurs. No MLB, no Golf, no NASCAR, etc. Checked covers.com and I believe the only sporting events today are 2 WNBA games!!!

Is anyone out there having withdrawals yet????

and i believe i heard a few years ago that the 2 days around the All Star game are the 2 worst sports days of the year

i dont think football fans can get effected by this day becuase there is such a long period between the Super Bowl/Pro Bowl game and the first pre season game that football seems like a distant memory at times...course i wouldnt give it up for the world

Right on alex, and since I am basically just a football nut, I go into withdrawal in February. Its starting to get better now. I entertain myself with replays and the Football follies.
