So someone needs to face Tiger. Will it be David Beckham or Steve Nash time to decide. Heres there resimes:

Steve Nash: -won back to back MVPs in 2006 & 2005
-is 5 time NBA allstar
-has lead the Suns to the playoffs the 3 years he's played there

David Beckham -Captain of English national team for 6 years
- signed 5-year 250 million dollar contract with the MLS' LA Galaxy
-is married to Posh Spice

In terms of pure athletic accomplishments, Nash may have a slight edge on Becks. But if you could starpower, it's the footballer all the way.

I was leaning towards Nash because I don't even think Beckham was a starter on his team, but with the off field stuff and the contract he is the bigger star.

on the field/court Nash is an all round better player but there is no one that can compete with the Beckham label off the field. i mean hes endoursed everything and anything and sold his merchandise all over the globe. hes a major influence in the East and in Europe, hes the face of some of the biggest merchandising labels in the world including Adidas and Gillette and now hes heading east i would expect to see his face plastered everywhere selling everything from cars to kitty litter.

Beckham has to take the vote on this one and to be honest i think his off the field accomplishments should give him a pass into the finals anyway

yes and like i said in the post before Nash is a better on the court/field sportsman but since you didnt specify in your original thread that this included off the field success i have said i would choose Nash for on the court/field but Beckham for off the field...
