Maria Sharapova over Tony Parker...I hate Parker...I mean he is a good enough player, but he is French and he has Duncan doing the Lions share of the work...how did he even get on here...bears...I want a recount... I want Parker out of there!

I can't believe that Greg Oden's even on the list. Dude's played one year of college ball and we're already putting him in the top 32 athletes in the world?

i think the Woods vs Young is a little to unfair to look at since Tiger has been around for a while and has been at the top of his game for years and won everything thats going, where as vince has only been playing pro football for a year and despite having swept all rookie honours last year cannot really compete with someone with a career as long as Tigers.

i would go with Manning over Ronaldinho though, "buck tooth Ronny" was a great player for a few season and continues to do well now but at the moment he isnt playing how he used to. Peyton on the other hand has played consistantly well for years and is still going strong.

im going to go for Jeter over Ortiz. not to say Ortiz isnt an excellent home run hitter but thats pretty much all her is, Jeter is a great hitter, a great short stop and a great captain and although he may not have the home runs or the RBI's Big Poppe has, i think he is an ALL ROUND better player.

i would go for Nash over Beckham though, i mean Nash has been consistantly a good player year in and year out with not the best players around him. Beckham however went from Man Utd who were a great team to Real Madrid who were basically an All Star soccer team and though his ability to curl a ball has remained, its easier to be a great player when you are surrounded by greatness but its harder to be a great player when you are surrounded by average players

Serena has to beat Reggie according to the rules of the game here

Reggie has done nothing outside of college and being the #2 pick in the draft

Serena has won 8 major tourneys ..... and your rules state WORLD popularity not just US popularity ...... who in the world knows or cares about Reggie Bush ? ......... Serena on the other hand, has won the French Open ... Wimbledon twice and the Australian Open 3 times ...... she is well known and respected around the world ........ hands down it's Serena
