I didn't watch, but I did read up on it just a few minutes ago.

Sounds like he was just teasing the audience since everyone was expecting a bloodbath.

Not necessarily a blood bath...But something...I have to say this...it was a brilliantly done scene. So much weird stuff was happening, and the tension was building...There wasn't anybody watching whose heart wasn't beating really fast, and then just like that....the screen turns black...

Unfortunately, I don't think there is going to be a movie. I read Gandolfini is tired of playing Tony. He said he doesn't like to feel angry all the time. H eis also in just about every scene. It wears him out playing him.

If his post Sopranos career doesn't pan out, I bet he could be talked into it.

I am really disapointed how they ended the series. I am not talking about the final scene... I kinda liked that. I am talking about all the storylines they left open. I wanted to see what was going to become of the FBI agent. It seemed like he was getting into Tony's pocket.

I was a little upset that they whacked Phil so easily and quickly. I was wanting to see some kind of a showdown with him. Not a gunfight, but have Tony's guys grab him and take him to the 'bing'. It could have been intense with Tony talking to him before he shot him in the head.

Gandolfini is going to be so typecast that he'll be back if the pay day is good enough a few years down the road.

Also, I don't think the FBI agent was in Tonys pocket. I think he really liked Tony.

I read the book Donnie Brasco and Joe Pistone, the FBI agent, who was Donnie said that he actually liked Sonny Black, one of the Capos that he brought down and later on Sonny's girlfriend told Pistone that Sonny really liked him, too. This was after it all came out.

That is why I was curious about him. He went out of his way to get info that Tony needed that he had to have known was going to lead to Phil's death. He slept with a fellow agent to get him the info and called him right after they were finished.

He may have been doing it because he liked Tony, but would that matter to Tony if he needed something from him later. He would always have that over his head. That is why I thought that storyline needed played out more.

I think I am too into this show talking about storylines that never happened.
