| desertrat: I have to disagree with you on this one. No way Kobe Bryant is better than Tim Duncan. Duncan is by far the best player in the game. And blue and white: Darcy Tucker? He ruined a guy's career. My choice: The Rocket - Roger Clemens. |

| Re: Most hated Athlete You Love Kurt Warner. Circa 1999, I couldn't stand the guy...and the rest of the Rams for that matter. Even though he had a fun loving story to fall back on, I felt the whole team was too cocky and arrogant. But when he came to the Giants a couple of seasons ago, I saw up close and personal what kind of guy he was. He is truly one of the nicest and up-standing humans in the sport. I don't know if I ever truly "hated" the dude but my opinion of him certainly did the 180. Also can put Tom Glavine in the same role lol. Hell, he's been through a lot since coming to the Mets and still has some life left in that arm of his. Then again, there are people who you just learn to dislike and will never change your tune. Guys like Donovan McNabb, Eagles/Cowboys/Redskins fall into that category (that is...unless they sign with the Giants |

I have been a Laker fan since the late 1970s when my family moved to Long Beach from Omaha. Kobe was instrumental in the Lakers winning 3 straight titles. Sure I miss Shaq, but economics would not allow the Lakers to keep both players any longer. Shaq is quite a bit older than Kobe and has had knee, foot, and ankle problems for years now. Kobe is entering his prime years and should provide the Lakers with many more game winning shots, and possibly could even lead them to another title in the future if they surround him with the right role players. |

Yes, he made a bad hit - but what I love about Tucker is his commitment, his play, his attitude, his passion. Yeah, you won't like him if he's not on your team and yeah he has made some mistakes - are we all human? - but I want him on my team. Glad I didn't say my other choice - Bertuzzi. |

and my, my, my don't we all love to cast that first stone?...Give me the guy with passion that makes a mistake in the heat of battle...than the nice guy who sits in the corner during crunch time any day... |

| Actually I have more of a problem with Tucker's hit. Bertuzzi did what everyone else was doing in the league. I could show you a hundred other similar hits where the recipient didn't break his neck. While violent and terrible, as crazy as this may sound, there was no intent to injure. Tucker actually threatened that he was goanna take Peca out, and then he followed through. So there was pre-meditation. And to me, that's worse. |
