ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- The
Minnesota Wild have spent a lot of money this offseason to surround
Marian Gaborik with plenty of talent.
On Wednesday, they did their part to keep the right wing around for a few years.
The Wild signed Gaborik to a three-year, $19 million contract, about an hour before he was expected to file for salary arbitration. "He would have had choices," Wild general manager Doug Risebrough said. "Today, he chose us."
I like Gabrik. he had a big season for the Wild with 38 goals...this will keep him on thr squad a while longer.
