Both Boston and Phoenix are looking at Manny Fernandez - Nicklas Backstrom has replaced him as No. 1 goalie and he was signed to a $6.2-million, two-year extension.
Fernandez has $9.25 million left over the final two years of his contract.
So is Thomas out for Boston? is Cujo gone from phoenix?

It would be nice to see Boston land him. Cujo has to be getting up in years at Phoenix though...how old is he now?

Maybe he and Eddie ought to get a job together...that way they can rest and spell each other...maybe down in Florida...were players probably go to retire...maybe...

Cujo's gotta be considering retirement at this point, I'd like to see Fernandez is Boston rather than Phoniex....however, Cujo could give it another year maybe, playing for a team DESPERATE for a backup, Washington, or New Jersey both come to mind.
