According to the Associated Press, "The Minnesota Vikings acquired quarterback Brooks Bollinger from the New York Jets for defensive tackle C.J. Mosley and an undisclosed draft choice Thursday night... He'll likely compete for the backup job behind starter Brad Johnson." Good acquisition for the Vikings?

FOr some reason, CJ Mosely's name sounds familiar. If he's who I think he is, a pretty good deal for the Jets. They get a DT and a draft pick for a guy who likely was never going to play a down for them.

The Vikings may have seen something in Bollinger they liked. He can learn a lot from Brad Johnson, too.

Yup. Bolinger is no great loss anyway. He's okay for a game here or there but he just doesn't have the passing ability to get it done as a regular.

Hes a solid backup though so id say a good acquistion for the Vikes. I mean he did well with last years Jets team. Not sure Unitas could do that!
