| Favre gets surgery It's official that Brett Favre has undergone surgery for his torn biceps tendon. Vikings coach Brad Childress has imposed a deadline of this week for Brett Favre to decide whether he will be the team's quarterback for the 2009 season, according to ESPN.com. ESPN writers Chris Mortensen and Ed Werder cited two sources.

| Re: Favre gets surgery Hmm, I just caught the tail end of a trailer the other night and I thought it said he wouldnt be coming out of retirement. Maybe I read it wrong. So the question is can this almost 40 year old quarterback heal in time for the training camp? And even if he can, without working out until then, will he be effective? Or will he fall flat on his face and Rosenthal becomes the starter anyway. Keep us posted bp.

| Re: Favre gets surgery For the good of Brett Favre, he should stay retired for the good of Bears' and Packers chances in the NFC North he should come back greatly expand his interception record, and cost the Vikings there. I think he's leaning towards too, they have hotel reservations in Green Bay the week the Vikings are playing the Packers someone explain that to me

And you seem pretty sure he is going to throw a bunch of interceptions, like last year. If his arm is healed, dont you think that likelyhood will diminish? |
