| Re: Should The Vikings Sick With Jackson They don't really have a choice this year, but this is definitely a make or break season for Jackson. I am not saying he needs to show that he is a Pro-bowl type player yet, but he needs to show consistency and the ability to manage a game. If he flounders this year, then we will have to start looking elsewhere either or maybe see how Booty has progressed. That's my take on it, what does everyone else think? PS: I would argue that Peterson is not only top 5, but at least top 2 if not the best in the league. |

having an injury in your only season and still being considered top 5 is nothing for him to scoff at imo |

he has one of the best RB's he could ever have yeah i think 2008 needs to be his breakout season .... i would certainly make him the #1 guy to start the season ..... unless something incredible happens before the regular season (he cant seem to complete a pass .. or Booty has a perfect rating) defenses have to key on Peterson ... if a QB cant do something positive with that then i dont think he ever will |

| Re: Should The Vikings Stick With Jackson Because this is a make or break season, then I would hope that the Vikings are looking around for future qb's. But there is no doubt they need to give Jackson his chance this year. He was making progress at the end of the year, slow progress, but progress none the less. I am not too sure about what kind of coach he has though. Not sure if he can bring out the best in Jackson. He has to be able to surprise defenses when they key on that outstanding running game.
