Not only does it rank as the Vikings worst draft of all time, but maybe the NFL's as a whole. Only one player is even still on the team and none of them ever made much impact on this team or any other team in the league.
1st round
(7th)-
Troy Williamson- never reached 500 yards in a season and released (actually traded, but was to be released if trade wasn't made) after 3rd year, had the worst hands of any reciever I have ever seen.
(18th)-
Erasmus James- injuries and ineffectiveness were his problems, in the last two years combined played 8 games while recording 9 tackles and 1 sack.
2nd round Marcus Johnson- Only player from draft that is still a Viking, he has never lived up to his hype. Can be a spot starter, but struggles if he is the "man".
3rd round Dustin Fox- He never played a game as a Vikings after breaking his leg during pre-season. He was released during training camp the next year. Plays for Bills now and has 4 career tackles.
4th round Ciatrick Fason- He was a 3rd/4th string running back during his two year run with the Vikings. He was released in the 2007 training camp and is now out of the NFL.
6th round C.J. Mosley- Traded after 1 year as a Viking for backup QB Bollinger. He is a passable backup DT.
7th round-
Adrian Ward- Never made the roster as a rookie and never made it into the league, probably a working stiff now.
