| Vikings, Avista talking about land again After the canceling a $45 million deal to buy Star Tribune property near the Metrodome, the Vikings have resumed negotiations with Avista, the parent company of the newspaper. The Vikings still remain the likeliest buyer of the property. Area property owners believe that Zygi Wilf still envisions building a stadium on the Metrodome site and developing the land around it.
