For a long time they were my favorite team. I loved Anthony Carter and Robert Smith. Over time, I have come back to the Browns. I guess it is because they are my local team. I see them more, but I still watch them everytime they are on.

Until Peterson came along I would have to say that Robert Smith was my favorite Viking of all time, loved him.

Those were some fun years, unfortunately it seems like ages ago My favorite year had to be 98 with Cunningham, Moss, Carter and Smith. Got my heart broke that year though...freaking Gary Anderson
I am middle of the road as far as Tavaris is concerned I think he can be a solid QB, he did come on pretty good towards the end of the year and we had the worst receiving corps in the league last year, but he is IMO not going to become a game changer. Man the NFC north is bad at QB!!
I am in La Crosse, so I am just over the boarder and it isn't all that bad I will say there was a ton of sad people when Brett retired though. I am moving to Milwaukee in a month, so we will see how it goes when I get there.
