Ray Edwards Suspended
Vikings defensive end Ray Edwards, a start for most of the 2007 season, has been suspended by the NFL for violation of the policy on anabolic steroids and related substances.
Edwards, a fourth-round draft pick in 2006, will be replaced by Brian Robison, Erasmus James, and Jayme Mitchell.
Under the steroids policy, a first offense results in a four-game suspension.
