| Two weeks off-Peterson still has it Adrian Peterson got the straight arm. Two people gave it to him. Not when he was in the game. Afterward. After he left the game early in the third quarter and tried to go back in. He got the straight arm from his position coach, Eric Bieniemy, and his head coach, Brad Childress. "He was working hard to stay in the game," Childress said. "He could have been stumping for office." Peterson can slither. He can juke. He can power his way past a defensive player. But he couldn't get anywhere with Bieniemy and Childress. Both told him the same thing: "You're done. You're done." Childress and Bieniemy had seen enough from Peterson. Enough to know that his right knee and the brace he wore on it hadn't changed this simple fact: Peterson is the NFL's best running back. http://www.twincities.com/ci_7619814?source=rss

| Re: Two weeks off-Peterson still has it Oh yeah, he's still got it. He is an amazing athlete - arguably the best rookie running back in NFL history. I know I've not seen a first-year player have such an immediate impact on his team. Sky's the limit for A.D. if he can stay healthy.

| Re: Two weeks off-Peterson still has it They have a great shot at the palyoffs now. The move he put on that defensive back on his last touchdown. Oh my God! You couldn't have a dream where you do that to someone. It is the kind of fake that you cannot even remember how you did it or even duplicate it again if you tried. If he can stay in one piece, they can build around him. I have not had this much optimism since the Tommy Kramer days.
