Vikings vs. Cowboys

Vikings take on the Dallas Cowboys at Dallas.
Dallas D is fairly good against the rush, but Peterson keeps the Viking offense at number 1. This guy can run. Can he get past Dallas?
This is another physical runner and gives hits as well as he takes them.
QB Tavaris Jackson is young and still struggles. But the Dallas D is lousy against the pass. Can Jackson get it together enough to give Dallas a bad day?

Re: Vikings vs. Cowboys

The Cowboys should handle the Vikings with no problems, but they could be in trouble if they let Peterson get going. Romo better be on his game also. The Vikings have some good DBs

I think there DBs gamble a lot and make a lot of INTs in the process. They can also get beat a lot in the process.

Re: Vikings vs. Cowboys

Vikings lost 24-14. Adrian Peterson was held to 63 yards but that is due to his coach as much as the Cowboy D. He only had 8 carries. After the opening drive, he got 4 touches for 27 yards, including one 20 yarder for a td.
Passing game is terrible. Jackson can make some things happen with his feet and he also has enough brains to throw the ball away. Unfortunately, he needs to make sure there is a potential passer in the area when he is still in the pocket. He got called for intentional grounding.
The Vikings just werent able to take advantage of the Cowboys mistakes and come out on top.

Re: Vikings vs. Cowboys

I am really hoping for a losing season from the Vikings. I would like to see them get a high enough pick to take a good QB.

I get the feeling that they are feeding the ball to the running backs so Tavaris doesnt get the chance to make a mistake. They think they can get somewhere this year.
But I think you are right, unless they are convinced that Tavaris is the guy, hope for a better year next year with a different qb.
