I never saw anything like that. Every single play he was getting huge chunks of yardage.....15 yards, 17 yards, 65 yard TD run...., etc....

What's really amazing about it is that the Vikings have no passing game so the Chargers D knew that Peterson was getting the ball every play and they still couldn't lay a hand on him.

I know, that's what got me too. Are the Chargers' D really that bad or is Peterson really that good? I hope the game is on NFL Networks replay. I didnt see the game and I really would like to.

I was able to see this game on NFL Access replay. Adrian Peterson is something else. He runs like he's really teed off. Instead of heading for the sidelines when he's on the edge, he turns and heads back into the fray. Terrill Davis said he had 3 200 yard rushing games in his career and Peterson already has two in his rookie year.
The Vikings passed more than I thought they would have. Just enough to keep the Chargers off balance.
I thought Chris Chambers of the Chargers stood out.
And if it wasnt Peterson running through, it was Chester Taylor.
It was mentioned that for those two running backs to be running like that there had to be some good blocking up front.

The guy averaged 9.9 yards per carry on Sunday. Even if he only gets 20 carries, he'll be over 150 yards easily because he's so good at making the most out of every carry.

He averages 129 yards a game...you can't really ask for more out of a back regardless of carries...his other 223 yard game came on jsut 20 carries.
