When Adrian Peterson was brought in he was to be an integral part of the Viking offense; just not this integral.
He has 64 of 89 rushing attempts.
He has 271 of the team's 385 rushing yards.
He has 2 of the team's 3 offensive td's, one rushing, one receiving.
He is the only Viking with more than 100 receiving yards. He has 160 yards on 8 receptions. Bobby Wade has 96 on 10.
His teammates say they know he needs help.
Peterson says he is ok with carrying the offensive load until Taylor comes back.

Yeah... I had him to (til I traded him)...no such things...he's getting a bit over 20 touches a game...and that is about right for him.

I'm sure they're concerned about him wearing down, as a rookie, but I think he can handle the load. So far, so good, at any rate.

It sounds like Taylor might be back this Sunday against the Packers. So his numbers should be down.

That will help take the load off him a bit, and give the Vikes the two-back system they've wanted all along. Still need to get the pass game going, though.
