| Bench or Play???? The Vikings have supported quarterback Tavaris Jackson and have hinted that they would not ask as much of their young quarterback as other qb's in the league. Basically, they were asking him not to lose games and make sound decisions. In game one, he passed the test. But in game two, on the road in a loud dome, he failed miserably. He seldom made the right play in a critical situation. Right now the Vikings dont have the talent to properly protect their young quarterback. So the thought is if the Vikings want to win now, they should hurry backup Kelly Holcomb to get ready to start. If they want to develop their young offense, they should take their lumps with Jackson.
