Tavares Jackson's (groin) is "beat up pretty good" and his status for Sunday's game against Kansas City is uncertain, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Head coach Brad Childress did say Jackson will be his starter if healthy despite last week's four-interception performance.

Kelly Holcomb was the No. 3 quarterback last week against Detroit, but the Vikings have all but said he'd be the No. 2 quarterback once he learns the offense. With Brooks Bollinger losing a key fumble while replacing Jackson last week, Holcomb's learning of the offense may be accelerated this week and he could be the one who gets the start if Jackson can't play.

I disagree. Tavaris will learn from his mistakes and do better this week. Chiefs are awful.

I think Holcomb has always been a good sub... I am not sold on jackson being ready yet.

I agree with Gotham. As bad as KC has been, Arrowhead is the toughest place to play in the league.
