Vikings vs. Falcons

The Vikings are a team beset by a lot of problems in the past. They are still struggling to get past them. Tavarius Jackson, their young quarterback is struggling. Bollinger is his back-up so I dont think there is going to be much help there. They have a strong running game in Chester Taylor and Adrian Peterson and the addition of Robert Ferguson WR from the Packers should give them a boost.
Is this going to be enough?

Re: Vikings vs. Falcons

The Taylor-Peterson tandem in the backfield should blossom into one of the NFL's best. I'm very high on both of them. That said, Minnesota has some glaring weaknesses in the passing game, while Atlanta, for all their problems at the quarterback position, seem to be better off now with Joey Harrington running the show. This will come down to which defense does the better job of shutting down the opposing offense's strength. Something tells me the Vikes will come up short in this one.

Peterson is off to a good start folks...Adrian has 6 carries for 36 yards...making me glad I took him in another fantasy league that has a bonus for a 100 yard effort.

Peterson is over the 100 yard mark...another 60 on a TD pass reception and 22 on kick returning...we are off to the races for the NFl rookie of the year boys and girls...

We're only halfway through week one, Goth, but AD sure looks like the real deal. I thought for sure he'd spend much of this year playing second fiddle to Chester Taylor, but he's breaking out of that mold right quick.

Harrington was his old self. I saw where he threw a pick-six right into the belly of a defensive lineman.

Yep...and I passed on him in the GTG league for Marshawn Lynch...though in my other league I snagged them both....I took Taylor too jsut in case...but, I think the kid is here to stay.

Re: Vikings vs. Falcons

I cant believe I forgot this thread. My grandson will kill me.
Vikings defense and Peterson did the job. Seems the defense was pretty good in preseason too. Between them and the run game, they should give that young quarterback time to develop without making the Vikings look awful. If he is the guy, looks like the Vikings could be on their way up.
