The Vikings released 8 players on Monday including quarterback Drew Henson.
Henson was once a highly touted prospect at University of Michigan before spurning football and signing with New York Yankees as a 3rd baseman.
He returned to football in 2004 signing with the Dallas Cowboys. He played 7 games that year and was released in August of 2006 before joining the Vikings practice squad. The team later released him but saw enough to give him another shot this year.

So Henson's officially a bust in two sports. Does he try again in football or attempt to ressurect his baseball career?

I didnt think he was a bust in baseball I thought he switched over because he liked football better?

I think he had decent power but a hole in his swing...wouls have liked to have seen him do well in football though.

Well, he couldn't crack the major leagues. Probably would've been a career AAA player. Yanks finally gave up and traded him, to Cincinnati I believe.
