An impressive performance by receiver Bobby Wade and a powerful running game highlighted the performance by the Vikings on Saturday night at Qwest field but it wasnt enough for a victory over Seattle.
The starters played well into the third quarter, exiting the game trailing 16-10. Wade hauled in 5 receptions for 85 yeards and also threw a touchdown pass to tight end Visanthe Shiancoe on a reverse pass in the 2nd quarter.
The rushing game was on track, as Chester Taylor and Adrian Peterson combined for 102 yards on 18 carries.
Tavaris Jackson finished after first series in 3rd quarter completing 9 of 18 passes for 117 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.
