| Top player in 2006 Chester Taylor, RB: Taylor was the runner many had envisioned him to be once he got his chance to be a starter. However, that lasted all of 12 games. In Week 14, he hurt himself, missing a game, then running for only 118 yards over his the three weeks. Before then, though, he was one of the pleasant surprises, getting many owners into their respective playoffs. His 1,216 yards were a big bonus for a back many teams used as a RB2. His six touchdowns could have been better, but his 42 receptions out of the backfield helped to numb that pain a bit. On a team looking for some kind of a star, he was easily the best the Vikings had to offer in 2006. FOX Sports on MSN - Fantasy Football Draft Guide - Team report: Minnesota Vikings

| Re: Chester Taylor's role Taylor probably was the Vikings best player in 2006, which makes me wonder what to expect out of him this season. One would have to think a healthy Adrian Peterson gets the lion's share of the carries, and he'll probably be the go-to-guy in the red zone as well. What kind of production should we expect out of Taylor in 2007?
