Rumors persist that David Carr might be headed to the Vikings for as low as a
4th round pick. For a 4th rounder, I think the Jets should get him. If it's true, Houston must be nuts

Well, NFL Network reported the Texans want between a 2 and a 5. Now why they would make that public, I don't know... of course everyone's going to try and lowball them now. Carr is definitely worth a 4th round pick; a much safer pickup than many you could get on the second day.

And there you have it...Carr is a good QB in a terrible, terrible team...give him a line and he is certainly worth more than a 4th round pick.

Our offensive line is not much better than the Texans. We have an overpaid left side and a horrible right side. We still need work. I'd like to see Carr in Minnesota but I don't see it happening anymore unless we do some kind of big trade, Carr and the Texans first rounder for our first, 2nd, and a few players or something like that.

Now that Carr's a free agent, he may well be on his way to Minnesota. According to Rotowire.com, "Vikes' coach Brad Childress had said the team wouldn't give up a draft choice for Carr because he never has liked the quarterback's mechanics. That said, now that Carr is a free agent, the Vikings could decide that said mechanics are worth working on."
