Travis Taylor arrested

The Associated Press is reporting that Vikings WR Travis Taylor was arrested in Minnesota on Monday. According to the report, "Taylor, 27, refused an officer's request that he get into a waiting limousine-bus as police tried to disperse a large, unruly crowd so an ambulance could get through around 2:30 a.m., police spokesman Lt. Amelia Huffman said. Taylor was not allowing the bus to leave and began pushing the officer and the officer eventually used a Taser to subdue Taylor, she said." Your thoughts?

Vikings Taylor makes first court appearance
Pioneer Press, MN - 16 hours ago
MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Travis Taylor made his first court appearance Wednesday on charges stemming from an altercation with police outside a nightclub early Monday.

Taylor, 27, is charged with one count of fourth-degree assault on a peace officer and one count of obstructing the legal process or arrest, both gross misdemeanors. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

He did not enter a plea on Wednesday. His next court date was set for Jan. 23 at the Hennepin County Government Center, said City of Minneapolis spokesman Matt Laible.

Police say Taylor refused an officer's request that he get into a waiting limousine-bus as police tried to disperse a crowd so an ambulance could get through around 2:30 a.m.
