Vikings Tell Robinson He'll Be Released

MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Vikings have told receiver Marcus Robinson he is being released, Robinson's agent told The Associated Press on Sunday.

Agent Ken Sarnoff confirmed a newspaper report that the 10-year veteran will be released. A Vikings spokesman also confirmed the story and said the team would have no further comment Sunday.

"I'm not surprised," Robinson told the St. Paul Pioneer Press on Sunday.

He's better than that bust Williamson that's for sure. Travis Taylor was a real steal for that team and seemingly their whole recieving corps.

I am suprised...hey is a big target and can run...I am sure he will be picked up...anyone remember that 1,400 yard season he once had?...or has it been much too long?

Childress is making a lot of cuts. I am thinking that if the Vikings don't have a winning season next year, Childress is a good as gone.
