Will Jackson be a late addition to the number of good rookies this year? Do the Vikes have a shot at the playoffs with this kid?

No, I think it's too late for a playoff run, but the kid might work out for them. I mean, Childress sounds impressed with how he ran the offense, especially the two minute drill. Like the coach is quoted as saying in this article, "What we like about him is he's a good decision-maker, he can think, and obviously he has the skills with the athleticism and the arm strength." He definitely has earned this chance to start, because one thing's for sure - Brad Johnson is NOT the future of this franchise. Decent QB, but old as all get out.

See I hope so...I am selling a few of this kid's cards on e-Bay...I need the big games out of him for pure selfish reasons.

I think he's got a chance to be good. He's got mobility but he's not of the Micheal Vick runningbacks with a good arm variety.
