| Culpepper's Bonus A story on ESPN reports that Vikings' Owner, Zygi Wilf, spoke at the NFL combine on working out a deal to pay Daunte Culpepper a $6 million roster bonus. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2345831 ----- I think Vikings fans should be happy about this news. Culpepper is a great quarterback, even without Randy Moss. Although he threw 8 INT and 0 TD in his first two starts, Culpepper came back and threw 6 TD with 4 INT, in 4 games where he posted a 2-2 record. Now, if you think Culpepper isn't that great without Randy Moss, and if you think that Brad Johnson, as good as a quarterback as he is, is better than Culpepper, you might want to consider this: Culpepper faced TB, CIN, NO, ATL, CHI, GNB and CAR, going 2-5, although he didn't finish his seventh start. Johnson started against, DET, NYG, GNB, CLE, DET, STL, PIT, BAL, CHI, posting a 7-2 record. Of the teams Culpepper played, 5 of 7 teams won 50% or more of its games. Whereas only 3 of the 9 teams Johnson played won 50% of its games or more. |

| Re: Culpepper's Bonus Being from Minnesota and Being a Vikings fan, I love Daunte, he is a good quarterback, He just causes to many turnovers. Brad isn't our answer either. Not having Matt Birk in our lineup this year really hurt Dante too. It will be interesting to see how the season plays out this year. Go Vikes
