I have been reading that the Jets are being investigated about not listing Brett Favre on their injury report last season. He is claiming they new he was hurt and was going to need off season surgery? Really? I remember reading articles when he was doing his back and forth BS about playing that it was said that surgery probably wasn't necessary then he went ahead and had it. Now after saying he doesn't think he can go all 16 games this year he is throwing the Jets under the bus claiming they forced him to go out there and play when he was injured. Please I am so sick of this guy. Can't he just go away QUIETLY!!!

It would take more work than its worth to go back and check all that went on back then, but there are a whole lot of question marks in what you said to my mind. I am sure that it isnt Favre throwing them under the bus. I am not sure how the Jets came to be investigated. I will keep my eye open for more on the story.
But keep in mind that Eric Mangini was noted for misleading about injuries. He has done similar stuff before. I dont think anyone forced Favre to play. I think it was more about Favre not taking himself out.

I just read on Espn.com that the Jets and Eric Mangini got fined for not listing him on the injury report as probable for the last 4 games of the season. I don't recall any articles or references to the fact he was injured. He supposedly still has a shoulder injury and a cracked rib. Are the Vickings listing him on their injury report? Just a bunch of BS.

Good question. He said his shoulder was sore.
