oh yeah .... and the team went 13-3 and he lead them to the NFC Championship game

yeah, i guess youre right .... he had a lousy year

really ??????

well, lets see ..... last season Sage threw 6 TDs and 10 INTs .... yeah youre right again

if everyone stays healthy they can get 11 wins and take the division easy

Cleveland
Detroit
San Fran
Green Bay
St Louis
Green Bay
Detroit
Seattle
Chicago
Arizona
Cincinatti
Carolina
Chicago

those are all very winnable games

Right now, at this moment, I believe so. If I had to pick one to run my team in 2009, I'd pick Chad.

I wouldn't bet on it. Even healthy, Favre's arm strength has declined. He's never learned to be anything but a gunslinger type QB, and his body won't allow him to make the throws he used to make at his age. I think Minnesota fans are going to wind up being very disappointed, especially if they think they're getting the Brett Favre of old.

Someone else should have checked the stats before making such broad statements.
I was hung up on the not being able to play in a dome thing also, but yes, of course, they arent going to hassle him when he is under center. Like duh on my part. The only other thing is playing in the cold. Green Bay and Chicago have outdoor stadiums.

My grandson who is a Viking fan, informed me that Favre also has a torn rotator cuff, which isnt what he had the surgery for. That puts a different picture on whether or not he is healthy enough to play.

ok .... here we go again .... do you and bears9 research for posts together ?

i would agree the cold weather will start in November ..... here is there schedule after that ..... obviously all home games will be in the dome .. so they dont count

Nov 1st ... @ Green Bay .... tough game but it is at 1pm so it isnt like it will be freezing or anything and i think overall Minn. has the better team

Dec 6th ... @ Arizona .... dome

Dec 20th ... @ Carolina ... yeah its late in the year and its at night .. but its Carolina not Foxboro or anything ... shouldnt be freezing or anything

Dec 28th ... @ Chicago ... this is also a night game and likely will be freezing .... it will be a tough game for Favre for sure ..... they can hope it is snowing and both teams need to mostly rely on the running game .... the Vikes have AP and a top rated run defense ... they will be fine

again .... a little research comes in handy

The only Super Bowl runner-up to make the playoffs this decade was Seattle last year, even though the Seahawks went from 13 wins in 2005 to nine the next season.
Super Bowl jinx? Bears trying to avoid problems of recent Super Bowl losers - Wire Services - NFL - nbcsports.msnbc.com
seems Super Bowl runner ups tend to lose a little luster the following year

by the way ..... since so many seem so concerned with Favre's age ... Kurt Warner is 38 .... so there

Well, two things. One, its preseason, and he's the only QB in the NFL whose arm is 100% at the moment. And two, exactly how is throwing an uncatchable ball supposed to help Minnesota win more games?

haha After I posted it I thought I better check the schedule.
Actually all you did was show he didnt have to play in the cold. The fact still remains though that he has trouble in the cold. And that is a result of his bad arm. If its really healed, it wouldnt likely bother him.

I wondered about that also. Every clip I saw showed him throwing it a bit easier. Thanks for doing my research.

Dont be difficult Lefty. You know it means he can still throw it, thats all.
