| Vikings ticket prices Good news for Minnesota Vikings fans - the team has decided that, for the first time since 1998, they will not raise ticket prices across the board. In fact, only one-third of their available seats will cost more next season. According to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, "Season tickets for the 2007 season will range from $99 for obstructed-view seats to $1,160 for the best seats in the house... The Vikings will offer 4,000 upper-level season tickets for $196.10 -- or $19.61 per game -- as a tribute to the team's inaugural season of 1961." Great news, eh, Vikings fans?

| Re: Vikings ticket prices Not really, the Vikings have the worst fanbase in terms of loyalty. They can't get people to fill the seats so they have to lower prices. I live all the way in Texas and would die to go to games, yet most people won't go because they don't have Randy Moss or Daunte Culpepper anymore. Kinda sad, really.

| Re: Vikings ticket prices More likely to get blackouts then sellouts. But they do happen sometimes. I doubt this year though with our horrendous offense. The only way we get some excitement is if we draft Calvin Johnson. The reason I'm kinda down is that this year we don't have anything to get us excited about the season. In years past, we had a great offense, we'd get some defensive talent, everyone anticipates a great year, and sometimes we were let down but we always had the talent. Now, we have a bottom 5 offense in the league and we just lost our great defensive coordinator. I have a feeling people won't be excited this year with our dismal 6-10 performance last year. If we start out slow, it will be a long season. |
