A bevvy of moves by the Minnesota Twins yesterday, as the team called up Francisco Liriano while cutting P Livan Hernandez and OF Craig Monroe. According to the Associated Press, "The left-hander missed all of last season with Tommy John surgery and was battered in his first stint up this season in April, going 0-3 with an 11.32 ERA before being sent down... Hernandez ( 10-8 ) won six of his first seven decisions with the Twins, but he went 2-3 with a 6.44 ERA and 42 hits allowed in 29 1-3 innings in July." I'm not sure there were wise moves, personally. What do you think?

Well all I can say is its about time, he had such an amazing 2006 season for him and then after surgery just fell apart. The talent has to be there somewhere and good luck to him for finding it. If he does well then watch out because if he can 2.16 ERA at the age of 22 well all I can say is watch out.
