| Re: Santana trade rumors MLBTradeRumors has a pretty interesting rumor at their site. According to one source, the Yankees discussed internally about potentially going after Johan Santana. MLBTR says specifically a packagae of SP Chien Ming Wang, SP Ian Kennedy and CF Melky Cabrera may be offered. |

| Re: Santana trade rumors The Associated Press has confirmed that the Twins and Yankees are discussing a deal that would send Santana to New York, but, "Yankees senior vice president Hank Steinbrenner said Monday that discussions are ongoing but it was too early to tell whether they would lead to a deal. | Re: Santana trade rumors I'm sure Theo and I look at the roster in two different lights. I'd go after him with some caution as to who I have to give up. I'm not sure that money is the biggest obstacle for Boston anymore ... Finally. |

| Re: Santana trade rumors The Mets have made an offer of pitchers Deolis Guerra, Phil Humber, and Kevin Mulvey, and outfielder Carlos Gomez. Reportedly, the Twins told them if they added outfielder Fernando Martinez to the deal, they would do it. |
