| Santana wants out In light of the recent KG you would think it couldn't get worse for the state of Minnesota. That's not true. Johan Santana wants out of Minnestoda. Santana was mad at management for not making any moves at the deadline. He said he wanted to go somewhere committed to winning he said that is not happening in Minnesota. Santana is a free agent after 2008. Barry Zito got 18 million a year image Santana 's value. How bad is this for the Twins.

| Re: Santana wants out What I see going down is at some point (either in the off-season or at the 2008 deadline), the Twins pull off the blockbuster and ship Johan Santana to a contending team for a boatload of prospects. However, whether Santana stays with that team, I don't know. In free-agency, he should be able to command one of the top contracts in the game. |

If the Yanks fall short of the Series for a seventh straight year, I think they'll be alot more aggressive in going after Santana then the Sox will. The Yanks get back what made them so successful in the 98'-00' era- good, quality starting pitching. Ahh... the good old days with Wells, Pettitte, Clemens (version 1.0), Cone, etc... |

| Re: Santana wants out Santana wont go to the NL bc they have dominant pitchers and he isnt the biggest hitter he will want to stay in the AL and hemaybe goin to the Sox or Yankees. bc they have the biggest payroll. and they have the team for him |
